Fourth and Fifth Grade Activity for November:
The Internet is home to millions of websites, but not all of them are websites you can trust. When you are conducting research, only choose websites that are created by experts on a subject.
Here are some things to think about.
- Who is the author of the website? What makes him/her an expert on the subject?
- Are the words on the website spelled correctly? Does the website use proper grammar?
- Is the website trying to sell you anything?
- Are there links to other sources you can also use?
- Does the website look professional?
- Has the website been updated recently, or does it have an old copyright?
